INCENDIE DU CENTRE NATIONAL DE TRANSFUSION SANGUINE (CNTS)

PLUSIEURS DEGATS MATERIELS A DEPLORER ET UN ARRET MOMENTANE DES ACTIVITES DE LABORATOIRE

Une salle du laboratoire du Centre National de Transfusion Sanguine (CNTS) a pris feu le mardi 13 avril 2021. L’annonce a été faite par le ministre de la santé dans un communiqué. Le ministère indique qu’en plus des dégâts matériels, « l’incendie a entrainé une perturbation pouvant occasionner un arrêt momentané des activités de laboratoire du CNTS ».

Il rassure toutefois que des dispositions sont prises pour rétablir le fonctionnement normal du service et qu’un stock de sang est disponible pour couvrir les besoins pour une période de trois (3) jours.

Par ailleurs, le ministre de la Santé et du Développement social rassure la population que toutes les dispositions idoines sont en cours pour rétablir le fonctionnement normal du service dans les meilleurs délais.

Rappelons qu’en cette période de canicule, la coupure intempestive d’électricité devient de plus en plus récurrente.  

 Cela concerne les branchements de plusieurs secteurs sur une même prise, mais aussi le branchement de plusieurs appareils raccordés sur un même circuit.
