PROBLEMATIQUE DE L’EAU POTABLE A YIRIMADIO ET DJALAKORODJI MOUNTOUGOULA

MOOV AFRICA MALITEL ALLÈGE LA SOUFFRANCE DES POPULATIONS AVEC DES FORAGES

Soucieuse de l’amélioration des conditions de vie des communautés, l’entreprise citoyenne Moov Africa Malitel  a réalisé deux forages à Yirimadio et Djalakorodji Mountougoula. Il s’agit d’un « ouf de soulagement » pour des populations qui étaient confrontées à de  sérieux problèmes d’accès à l’eau potable.

Chaque fois qu’il est question d’apporter un « ouf de soulagement » aux préoccupations des populations maliennes, l’entreprise citoyenne Moov Africa Malitel  n’hésite pas à mettre la main à la poche. Dans ce sens, elle pose des actions concrètes dans plusieurs domaines comme l’éducation, la santé, la solidarité à l’endroit des couches vulnérables, entre autres. Comme le dit un proverbe :’’C’est dans les moments difficiles qu’on reconnait ses vrais amis’’. En cette période de saison sèche où dans certaines localités du pays  l’accès à l’eau potable est un parcours de combattant, à travers ces deux forages, les populations de Yirimadio et Djalakorodji Mountougoula ont compris que Moov Africa Malitel  fait partie de leurs amis. 

Faut-il le rappeler, selon les données, au Mali, le taux d’accès à l’eau potable est de 65,3% en milieu rural ; 74,7% en milieu semi-urbain et urbain et 68,0% au niveau national (source DNH rapport d’activités 2017). Environ 30% du parc hydraulique est non fonctionnel. Pour assurer un accès équitable et un approvisionnement adéquat en eau potable des populations, l’Etat a fait du secteur de l’eau, l’une des priorités à travers son engagement pris pour l’accès universel à l’Eau Potable et à l’Assainissement d’ici 2030, conformément à la vision africaine de l’eau, à la déclaration d’E-thikwini en 2008, au point 6 des Objectifs de Développement Durable (ODD) et au Cadre Stratégique pour la Relance Economique et le Développement Durable (CREDD). Il faut aussi prendre en compte les solutions fondées sur la nature qui sont également fondamentales pour répondre aux Objectifs de Développement Durable, en particulier l’ODD6 (eau) qui vise à garantir l’accès de tous à des services d’alimentation en eau et d’assainissement gérés de façon durable. 

Il ressort des constats qu’en matière d’accès à l’eau potable au Mali, l’apport des partenaires est considérable. C’est pourquoi, en vue de faire face aux différents défis qui causent des sérieux torts aux communautés, l’entreprise citoyenne Moov Africa Malitel  a décidé d’apporter sa part de contribution au secteur. Personne ne conteste que l’eau est source de vie, mais dans certains endroits, cette denrée précieuse est rare. Toute chose qui justifie la souffrance des uns et des autres. Dans certains quartiers du District de Bamako et environs, pour avoir de l’eau, il faut obligatoirement se réveiller à 3 heures ou 4 heures du matin. Quel calvaire pour ces communautés ! Il faut préciser que depuis un certain temps, Moov Africa Malitel s’est lancée dans cette opération de réalisation de forages au profit des communautés dans le besoin. Elle continue avec cette œuvre qui « enlève une épine des pieds » des populations de plusieurs localités.  

Il est important de noter que c’est le mardi 13  Avril 2021 que les deux forages en question ont été offerts aux populations des Communes de Yirimadio et Djalakorodji Moutougoula.
