FLAMBÉE DU PRIX ET RARETÉ DE LA CIGARETTE « MARLBORO LIGHT »

L’EMBARGO SUR LE MALI MIS EN CAUSE

Depuis quelques jours, on assiste à une flambée du prix et une rareté sur le marché de la cigarette de marque « Marlboro Light », notamment à Bamako et dans certaines localités du pays. Pour en savoir davantage sur les raisons   , notre équipe de reportage a mené une petite enquête auprès des commerçants grossistes et revendeurs. Selon les personnes interrogées, lors de notre parcours, il ressort que le prix la cigarette Marlboro Light, a fortement augmenté dans différents points de vente de la capitale ces derniers temps. Plus précisément, la seule   mèche  est vendue aujourd’hui à 100 Francs CFA contre trois mèches à 100 FCFA auparavant. Idem, le paquet qui avoisinait    750 Fcfa est vendu aujourd’hui à 1250 FCFA, soit près du double.

Dans les différents points de ventes,  certains vendeurs ou consommateurs (fumeurs) de cette marque « Marlboro Light » rapportent que les effets considérables des sanctions économiques et financières des Etats de la Communauté Economiques de l’Afrique de l’Ouest (CEDEAO) et de l’Union Economique et Monétaire Ouest-Africaine (UEMOA) imposées au Mali, ont pesé durablement sur la vie de plusieurs entreprises, notamment celle de Marlboro Light qui serait basée hors du pays.
